DocTech Supports More Grassroots Sport | DocTech

DocTech are continuing their support of grassroots football by sponsoring Radcliffe Juniors Thunder Under 7's Football Team.  This is the fourth local sports team DocTech have sponsored and we are proud to play a part in our local community.

Radcliffe Juniors FC are a Charter Standard Football Club that was established in 1987.  They work in partnership with Radcliffe FC and have recently welcomed the Bury FC Foundation into the group, making Radcliffe Juniors the largest junior club in the North West.  This provides extra opportunities for the boys and girls who train with the club, including enhanced development path ways into first team football.

Radcliffe Juniors FC Thunder are a team of eight boys who didn't know each other a year ago but have now formed a strong bond as they continue to learn, grow and foster a love of football.

Anyone who has stood by the side of a football pitch during the early morning of the weekend knows warm clothes are essential.  Having the proper kit enables children to play their best game, taking the edge off the cold weather while they wait for their turn to play.

The coats are not only a great addition to their kits for dark training nights, making it more bearable to get out over the winter months, but sponsorship also takes some of the financial strain away from parents.

As coach of the team, Aaron Tilley said:

"On behalf of all the players, coaches and parents at Radcliffe Juniors Thunder, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to DocTech for sponsoring our team.  As a first step into grassroots football it is amazing to have the support from a local business and each one of our players is extremely grateful for the generosity DocTech have shown."

Ruban Rajasooriyar, Managing Director of DocTech summarised:

"As a business with a 40 year history in Bury, it's always a pleasure to support local teams in this way.  As a big football fan myself and a player in my youth, I know how important the right kit is and it's great to hear what it means to the team and the parents."
