Components: Power Automate connector, DocuWare Cloud.
In addition to the iPaaS Connector for make.com, there is now a DocuWare connector on offer. Microsoft Power Automate. We have DocuWare integrations with hundreds of applications available on the Power Automate platform. This includes Microsoft ecosystem applications such as Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
In addition to the DocuWare task lists in Teams, the latest update of the DocuWare Teams app allows you to individually set whether you also want to receive notifications about new DocuWare workflow tasks via Teams. Use the link in such a notification to open the workflow task directly in DocuWare and complete it there - usually with just one click of a button. As soon as the DocuWare app is connected to a DocuWare Cloud organisation of version 7.10 (or higher), the DocuWare bot's help card displays the new functionality.
The new version of the add-in offers usability improvements and settings options, especially for storage locations. Available baskets and file cabinet dialogs can either be synchronized with the DocuWare Web Client or their order and visibility can be adjusted specifically for the add-in.
Applications that are integrated into DocuWare via the DocuWare API must now authenticate themselves using oAuth2. There is a new component within the DocuWare configuration for registering these applications. Currently the registration of applications is optional, at a later date it will become mandatory.
This applies equally to DocuWare Cloud and On-Premises installations.
With the new decision history, all decisions that were made for a document during a workflow are displayed in the sidebar of the viewer. It can be called up for all documents that (have) run through a workflow, even retrospectively for documents with a completed workflow.
The decision history is available in addition to the existing workflow history. In both types of history, the current task is now also displayed for requests that have already been sent. The decision history is available to all users who are authorised to view the history of a document.
Within the web services activity, you can now attach the current document to an HTTP request before it is sent to an external REST web service. In addition, two new end points have been added: "Append a new file" and "Replace a file".
You can now assign the values returned by a REST web service in the workflow to index tables.
Send an invoice to an AI capture service and allocate the line items to the columns of an index table for subsequent processing of the values.
For calculations within DocuWare forms, you can now select percent (%) as an operator in
the formula editor in addition to the four basic arithmetic operations.
This allows for automatic calculations of percentage values, for example VAT making it easier to create formulas.
Text that is entered within a workflow and automatically inserted into an area of a merge form can now also be wrapped. This means the text is displayed in its entirety in the corresponding form area instead of being cut off.
Within the DocuWare user administration, there is a new column for the license type in the user overview. For each user, it is displayed whether a license is assigned to them and what type it is, Named or Workflow license.
