Back in 2001, the company’s director and founder, identified a need for automation after seeing the potential of digital solutions. His vision was to integrate a digital pen and pad technology (no longer required thanks to digital forms) with DocuWare to automate and streamline document management.
Serviceline implemented an expanded DocuWare solution, incorporating 60 licenses and four key administrators. The solution includes a Destiny Digital Pen system, enabling engineers to fill out FSRs digitally and send them via Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. This would now be done via digital form.
Serviceline has continued to build on their DocuWare solution, integrating additional modules over the years. These enhancements have allowed for more robust indexing and document retrieval capabilities. Serviceline continue to look at the way they use DocuWare with future upgrades and enhancements in the pipeline.
